Most of the music by The 1000 naked ears project on this site is produced between 1997 and 2002. It was originaly released on a netlabel called Loonies Records which was a spinoff from the demo group called Loonies. As the time went by the music evolved from simple 4 channel tracks made on an Amiga 1200 to real analog instruments and sound effects mix'ed on a PC. Allthough many thing changed about the music one thing stayed the same: the need to play with sounds & moods for the fun of it!

Where does the name Naked Ears Project come from?
The name is a crossover between a demo by GFB (Gunnars Farve Bio) called “1000 naked ears” and an swedish demo group called “the elephant club”. This gave the name “The 1000 naked ears psychedelic elephant project” in danish De 1000 nøgne ørers psychedeliske elefant project. This was to long so it was shortend to 1000 Naked Ears Project
